Stop – read this first!

If you became a member before November 30th, 2022 on our old website, www.libertystreetgeek.net, please note that your information and your membership no longer exists. ALL memberships/users from the old site have been deleted. Deleted members should have gotten an email about this – double-check your spam folder.

What exactly happened?

Our old website was lost and has since been deleted. I tried to work with tech support to resolved the issue, but the issues ended up being coined, “a catastrophic data loss.” As a result of this loss our entire revenue stream went kaput. If you’ve listened to the podcast over the years you are aware that we do not advertise and we strictly rely on the community for support. That meant our income went to $0 in the blink of an eye.

Fortunately, a lot of old members are returning and rejoining here (as of 05/27/2023 we are at 318!). It’s incredible to see and a reminder as to how strong our listener base is and how fast they are willing to rally around us in times of need. We have started the slow build to getting our former members to rejoin here, and the progress thus far is impressive. We still have a long road ahead of us (400 by end of 2023 is the stretch goal), but I have every confidence that we will get back and go beyond our former glory.

What about my old membership that I paid for?

ANNUAL MEMBER
Any member who pre-paid for a year before the loss of the old site (Nov. 30th, 2022) is likely still owed time for that plan. Please email Dean (contact) and you will be given the appropriate compensation by way of a coupon or by a time extension on a new plan.

MONTHLY MEMBER
Any member who was on a monthly plan who joined before the loss of the old site (Nov. 30th, 2022) is no longer a member (assuming you have not rejoined on the new site), and has not been charged since then. The reason: all data on the old site is deleted and thus no longer being automatically billed each month. If you want to return to us just click the JOIN button, and follow the prompts, and a new account will be created for you, and you can select a new plan.

Going forward

We will routinely update our listeners through our various social media platforms as well as through our podcast (The Lost Drive-In) with audio announcement episodes.
